It’s been a long winter. Very long! I’ve been busy being a mom to two active little girls and working on improving my photography and building a business. I decided a fun way to incorporate those things together would be a 30 day challenge. Many thanks to Click It Up a Notch for this great e-book, The Unexpected Everyday. This challenge not only improved my skills, but made me look at photography from a perspective that I probably wouldn’t have before.
Day 1: Capture those little feet.

Day 2: Imaginative play.

Day 3: Morning routine.

Day 4: Portraits.

Day 5: Details.

Day 6: Outdoor play. (My little one found the puddles oh so entertaining that day!)

Day 7: Laughter.

Day 8: Peek a boo!

Day 9: Sleeping child.

Day 10: Busy hands at work.

Day 11: Evening routines.

Day 12: Walking away.

Day 13: A moment in another room through a cracked door.

Day 14: Looking out the window.

Day 15: Dramatic light.

Day 16: Allow your child to do something their not allowed to do. (Okay, they are allowed in the mud with their boots on. )

Day 17: With a favorite toy or stuffed animal.

Day 18: Get down low.

Day 19: silhouettes.

Day 20: Capture their curiosity.

Day 21: Something that represents who they are at this age.

Day 22: Reading on their own.

Day 23: Story telling

Day 24: Create motion blur.

Day 25: Photograph taking your child out to eat…..(photo coming soon). 🙂
Day 26: Staring directly into the camera with split lighting.

Day 27: Self portrait.

Day 28: Raise your ISO and capture a first.

Day 29: Your child’s room. My girls’ rooms are forever messy. Why clean up the mess when that’s what I’m probably going to remember so clearly about this age?

Day 30: Your child’s hands with an older family member (in this case, my hubby).

Mary,
This is so cool! i love seeing your family. It’s amazing that in the short time that you’ve decided to pursue photography, how much you’ve grown & improved!
