As a Senior Photographer in Medina, Ohio, it’s always such a joy to capture milestone moments — but this session was extra special. A is my niece, and getting to photograph her senior portraits felt like such a full-circle moment. Watching her grow up — from a little girl with a big grin to a confident, talented young woman — has been such a joy.
A is heading to Slippery Rock University next year, where she’ll continue her softball journey as a left-handed pitcher. It was important that her session reflected not just her beauty and personality, but also the years of dedication and hard work she’s poured into the sport she loves. She brought along her softball glove, bat, and letterman’s jacket, and we incorporated them into her portraits in a way that felt natural and meaningful.
A chose three outfits that perfectly captured her style — a dress for a timeless look, a skirt for something feminine and fun, and jeans paired with her letterman’s jacket for a relaxed, sporty finish. Each look showed off a different side of her personality, from polished and poised to carefree and confident. The evening light was perfect, giving her portraits a soft, golden glow that matched her warm, easygoing spirit.
