What To Expect In Your Akron Newborn Session
Before Your Session:
The best time to capture those tiny details is within your baby's first few weeks of life. We'll schedule your session for when baby is between 7-21 days old—when they're still sleepy, curly, and naturally settle into those sweet newborn poses.
Pre-session checklist:
Book your session during pregnancy (due dates are flexible—we'll adjust once baby arrives!)
Choose your session style: studio (posed and styled) or lifestyle (in-home and natural)
Feed baby right before the session for maximum sleepiness
Keep your home warm if choosing an in-home session (helps baby stay comfortable)
Plan for parents and siblings to be camera-ready for family photos
What's included:
All props, wraps, headbands, hats, and outfits for baby
Variety of setups, colors, and styling options
Parent and sibling photos incorporated throughout
Gentle posing and safe handling techniques
During the Session:
Newborn sessions last 1-2 hours because we move at baby's pace—not ours. Baby is the boss! We allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and cuddles.
